|We make environmental matters matter, creating fun campaigns that people latch onto and which go on to have a life of their own. We take a fresh approach to communicating environmental issues, focusing on people’s passions such as fashion, food, homes and neighbourhoods.
Our approach is positive. We believe sustainability can and should be fun, enjoyable and sociable. We constantly experiment, learn and evolve. We share results and open source our approach so others can amplify impact. We provide the spark for people to do things differently.
Collaboration is central to our approach. We listen and co-design. We are inclusive working at all levels, from grass roots to the board room. We are purposeful with clear charitable objectives delivering tangible impact.
We are a small experienced team of doers. We’re inquisitive, curious and proactive. We approach our work intelligently and even-handedly, based on facts and scientific evidence.
About the opportunity:
We’re seeking an intern to join our small team. The internship will offer a wide range of experience, working in a start-up culture. The role will provide direct administrative support to a range of on-the-ground initiatives including a food waste campaign at Halloween, a large-scale sustainable fashion initiative and piloting a new approach to tackling litter.
We’re seeking a highly enthusiastic person who has a genuine interest in sustainability and who wants to help bring the issue into the mainstream through innovative and impactful community-based activities.
We’re looking for somebody who can work effectively in a dynamic small team, who thrives on challenges, who has an active interest in current affairs and who is able to work confidently under their own initiative. As the role will largely involve providing administrative support, it is essential that you are organised, have a keen eye for detail and enjoy looking at spreadsheets every now and then over a cup of tea!
