he decentralised energy sector is undergoing rapid change. The Association for Decentralised Energy (ADE) plans to deliver a series of exciting new projects to respond to the needs of the market as well as generate income for the Association. We are seeking a Business Development Officer to help research and implement these new business projects, as well as grow the Association through membership and events.

The ADE is the leading decentralised energy advocate, focused on creating a more cost effective, efficient and user-orientated energy system. Decentralised energy is one of the most exciting areas of the energy sector and our members cover a wide range of market participants, from industrial manufacturers, energy providers, local authorities, and the wider energy market supply chain. The Association is growing to meet increasing member needs.

About the role:

This presents an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to shape a new role and make a real difference towards creating a better value, cleaner and less wasteful energy system.

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, proactive and commercially aware person who can assist our Head of Business Development in growing our business. The role will include helping to recruit new members, assist with the Association’s events, conferences and forums and working groups and working with the policy, communications and analysis functions.

The office is an exciting and dynamic place to work, engaging with industry leaders and decision makers at the forefront of energy policy, helping to shape the future energy market. You will enjoy engaging within a small office team as well as across a wide number of external stakeholders.
